is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Indiana University where she majored in Fine Arts. She also studied at the American Academy of Design in Chicago and the Ringling School of Art in Florida.

After moving to New York from her home state of Indiana, she studied at the John Pike Watercolor School and the Albert Handell School of Pastel. She has exhibited her artwork in regional and national fine art competitions in the New York Hudson Valley area, including the National Arts Club and the Salmagundi Club in New York City.

Her pastel and graphic artworks have won many awards in fine art shows.
